Lucifer (Season 1)

Lucifer is a web series now owned by Netflix. It shows the combination of biblical Lucifer and fictional lucifer.  Lucifer was the caretaker of hell who came on earth for a vacation. He now runs a luxury night club in Los Angeles with his ex girlfriend Maze who is a daemon whom Lucifer has brought from hell. Here he passes time by fulfilling people's deepest desires and asks for something in return which they have to give. In this way, he wants to control people. His brother, angel Amenadiel comes to him several times to convince him to go back but he is now happy living with humans. One day, one of his friends is murdered. He starts investigation with the help of police. Meanwhile, he meets detective Chloe. Seeing her, he gets a new spirit to live. Now he takes on the role of police agent to get closer to Chloe. Both of them start working together and lucifer uses his powers to solve murder cases.

Maze doesn't like it. She thinks that Lucifer is forgetting his real character and is acting more like a normal human being. Lucifer is in favor of sending the murderers to hell while Chloe, being a normal human being wants to send them for trial. She has some doubt about lucifer's personality. Finally, one day she sees his real face when he is about to send a murderer to hell after investigation. She fires on him but surprisingly, Lucifer starts bleeding and realizes that there is some special connection between them. Meanwhile lucifer starts going to a therapist Linda for therapy to release mental stress. To know more about lucifer, Amenadiel contacts Dr. Linda pretending to be a therapist  To blackmail Lucifer, Amenadiel steals his wings and sends fake wing to for Auction. Meanwhile lucifer and Chloe reach Auction hall and Lucifer and finds the wings. He takes the wings and burns them in front of Amenadiel. To kill Lucifer, Amenadiel takes help of a police officer Malcolm after saving his life. Chloe's partner Dan gets to know about it and tries to stop it. Lucifer is accused of a murder a for which Dan accuses himself to save him. Chloe comes to know about Malcolm's corruption and she confiscates his black money. To save his money, Malcolm kidnaps Chloe's daughter Trixie. Lucifer tries to save Chloe and Trixie but is injured. Surprisingly his powers doesn't work in presence of Chloe. Now Lucifer contacts God to get his powers back and gets them. After killing Malcolm, Lucifer tells Amenadiel about God's new orders. Now they have to find their mother who have just escaped from hell.

People's review about this season is that it is unnecessarily long and that there is same suspense in every episode which is revealed at the end. they give a rating of 2.5. People like it because of Lucifer's character.
